Closing the Launch Supply Gap
India’s annual launch capacity is around 20 tonnes to LEO, whereas the USA’s is approximately 5,000 tonnes. Annual launch capacity is a critical metric for space industry growth, and this gap requires urgent resolution. Astrobase aims to complement ISRO’s capacity by developing a mid-sized reusable launch vehicle, eventually scaling to larger vehicles.
